New rugged tablets for construction sites: Juniper Mesa Pro and Mesa 4

We now stock Juniper tablets, specially designed for construction sites and robust enough for harsh conditions.

We are now official resellers of the industrial tablets Juniper Mesa Pro and Mesa 4 – two rugged tablets designed for work in the field. Whether you work with machine control, surveying, or documentation, these are tools built to perform where standard tablets fall short.

Construction sites place very different demands on equipment than an office environment. You need something that can handle weather, dust, and rough use – while still managing heavy drawings and data. That’s exactly what the Juniper Mesa series is designed for.

Rugged tablet for machine control and construction

Standard tablets perform poorly in construction work. They are fragile, difficult to use with gloves, and often hard to read in sunlight. The result is frustration, errors, and unnecessary interruptions.

A rugged tablet is built for these conditions. You get a device that withstands rain, cold, and dust—and most importantly, works reliably throughout the entire workday. For those working with machine control, this means you can work directly with data in the field without adjusting your workflow to fit the equipment. Since Juniper tablets integrate well with machine control systems, they are especially useful in this context.

Juniper Mesa Pro and Mesa 4 – what’s new?

Juniper Mesa Pro and Mesa 4 are two industrial tablet models designed for different needs.

Mesa Pro features a larger screen and higher performance, making it ideal for working with advanced drawings and large datasets. Mesa 4 is more compact and easier to carry, while still delivering the power and functionality required for professional use.

Both models run full Windows, allowing you to use software and files just like on a PC—directly on site.

Rugged industrial tablet built for harsh use

Juniper Mesa tablets are built for tough environments. They are waterproof and dustproof (IP68 certified) and tested for rugged use (MIL-STD certified). This means they can withstand rain, cold, and impacts.

The screen is designed for readability in bright sunlight and can be used with gloves. This makes a real difference in practice, as you don’t need to stop working to remove gloves or find shade.

High performance for drawings and field data

In addition to durability, Mesa Pro and Mesa 4 deliver strong performance. They handle heavy drawings, map data, and models with ease.

For machine control users, this means you can:

open and work with data directly in the field

make changes without delays

maintain full control of your information

The result is a more efficient workflow and fewer errors.

Which rugged tablet should you choose?

The choice between Mesa Pro and Mesa 4 mainly depends on your needs:

Mesa Pro: Larger screen and more power – ideal for advanced tasks

Mesa 4: More compact and flexible – easier to carry

Both models are built for professional use in construction and give you a reliable tool for your daily work.

Ready for a more efficient construction process?

With the right equipment, your workday becomes easier. Juniper Mesa Pro and Mesa 4 provide reliable performance, high power, and better control on site. We use them regularly in excavator cabins.

Want to learn more about rugged tablet specifications? Take a look at Juniper tablets in our product range, or contact us to find out if they fit your needs.

Norwegian DigPilot 3D-system exported to Europe

Our in-house developed DigPilot is a 3D system tailored to Norwegian requirements and conditions. Now we are exporting it to Europe.

We are proud to announce that DigPilot is the only 3D system on the market qualified to carry Norway’s official origin label, MADE IN NORWAY. All software is developed by Gundersen & Løken AS in Oslo, and our proprietary, ultra-fast CAN bus sensors are produced by HAPRO Electronics AS in Hadeland. The system is designed for Norwegian standards and users, while DigPilot is also being exported to a number of countries across Europe.

DigPilot is the world’s first 3D machine control system capable of reading IFC files and GML files directly, without any form of conversion. By clicking on objects within an imported file, machine operators can access all stored data about the selected object. For example, click on a pipe to view its pressure class, diameter, material, and wall thickness. This saves large contractors significant time and cost, as there is no longer any need to convert files from IFC to LandXML.
